Organization for Eelam Refugees Rehabilitation desired that all its volunteers should enhance their capabilities and function. On this basis, various trainings are provided to the volunteers working for the organization's activities. Through experience it is noted that those who underwent the training are carrying out their duties exceptionally well.
Keeping this in mind, OfERR is involving in moulding the trainers from among those volunteers who have undergone various trainings. It is necessary to mould the trainers so that they become self reliant. Many of those who have completed their Leadership and Communication training were encouraged to act as Para trainers. The experience gained by being trainers, inspired many over the training programs. Based on this experience, training in trainers training was given to a group of volunteers who had undergone various training at the training Centre at the Regional office for the first time.
The Founder of OfERR Mr.S.C.Chandrahasan very much desired that this scheme carried out on an experimental basis be continued. Therefore it was decided to publish the Trainers Manual. Hence the compilation of 6 days training granted to OfERR volunteers as book has been carried out by Fr.Eliyas.
